The Blogger Cooler

You know, like the conversations around your office water cooler? Only, the conversations will be with cooler people. And you don't have to be afraid of your boss listening to your conversation. And, you can say anything you want during your conversation. Okay, so I guess it's nothing like the conversations around your office water cooler. Just leave a comment, dammit!

Well, I never been to work hung over. But, I know law students who would hit the bar across from the school at 10am before class.

So, technically, they would show up drunk.

Does that count? ;)

I have a hangover right now as I'm writing this from work. I've been drinking water, and taking many, many asprins, but nothing seems to get rid of it. I'm ok if I don't move my head realy quick or have to look at moving objects.

Every office job I have ever had I was below the legal drinking age. So, no.

Um, they banned alcohol at work last year whatsoever now because everyone was always drunk. They now do random alcohol testing (no joke!). The whole lunch culture died a very sad death, and nearby pubs lost 90% of their patronage. You must now have a 0.00 blood alcohol reading AT ALL TIMES!

However, prior to that, I remember a certain workmate who bought me a drink not realising I had left the pub (after already having Smirnoff Blacks (1.9 standard drinks) already), and had to guzzle them both down really really quickly!

She went back and realised she had to go to a meeting and managed to blub and glug and got thru it... just!

I guess that's part of the reason why we now have the testing *sigh*

Have arrived at work a bit hung over, yes.

Actually went to traffic school (for a speeding ticket) still hammered from the night before. (and no, I didn't drive there.) That was the looongest 8 hours of my life. ever.
