You know, like the conversations around your office water cooler? Only, the conversations will be with cooler people. And you don't have to be afraid of your boss listening to your conversation. And, you can say anything you want during your conversation. Okay, so I guess it's nothing like the conversations around your office water cooler. Just leave a comment, dammit!

They are both God Awful!!
I don't like touching or smelling people. Why do people do these stupid stunts they are so annoying.
Is there a stunt to smelling the finger? Sometimes hands just smell weird, and that same mentality that makes you say "this tastes like crap - try some" makes you want to share the finger smell (methinks I just shared too much here :) )
That being said, 'smell my finger' is always worse than 'pull my finger'.

"Pull my finger" always makes the kids laugh. "Smell my finger" just gets you dirty looks. Unless you are drunk, then your friends will talk about how funny it was for like, 10 years.

Do adults seriously do either?
I think smell my finger is disgusting beyond words and always reminds me of that Doofy character from Scary Movie. And even though I laughed my ass off at that scene, it's NOT funny in real life. And I never really understood how the pull my finger thing works. (Please don't try to explain it too me, though. LALALA, I can't hear you.)
